Ticket to Art
The main fundraiser for the Vienna
Art Society is a fun raffle of donated art works.
The event gained over $4000 for the organization in 2009.
Members donate an artwork valued at
$125 or more that is framed, matted, and wall ready.
A ticket is sold for each art work that is donated.
At a gala event held at 4 P.M. on
March 20, the raffle tickets are drawn and the winner, in turn, selects
the artwork of choice.
There are other door prizes and
light refreshments that add to the festive celebration of the fine arts.
