Noreen Brunini
Art Associations:
I am a Juried member of the Potomac Valley Watercolorists and an Exhibiting Artist at The Art League in Alexandria, VA and with the Vienna Art Society and Springfield Art Group as well as a member of the Virginia Watercolor Society. In New Jersey, I was a juried member of the Essex Watercolor Club (as well as a Board member), an Associate member of the NJ Watercolor Club and a member of the NJ Art League, Livingston Arts Association and the Chatham Art Association. I have been fortunate to win many awards since I began entering shows in 2014.
Background:
I began the study of watercolor about 12 years ago as my children left for college. Prior to that, I had no previous artistic experience but was lucky to have some fabulous teachers – In Virginia, I have taken classes with Peter Ulrich and Gwen Bragg. In NJ, my teachers included: Sharon Pitts, Fernando Catague, Donna Read, Mark de Mos, Marilyn Rose, Chris Carter and Thomas Valenti. Watercolor is my only media (so far anyway). My objective is to capture the light in everything from ordinary objects to beautiful vistas.
