I studied art (primarily printmaking) at the College of William and Mary and pursued a long career in art-related fields, from graphic and exhibit design to video production, and finally e-learning development. Several years ago I discovered the joy of painting en plein air, which combines my passions for art and the great outdoors. I relish painting in the beautiful environs of Northern Virginia, soaking up my surroundings – and using oils, brushes and palette knife to convey an expression of each place and moment in time. I am a member of Nova Plein Air Artists and Falls Church Arts and have exhibited in many local venues.
