As a volunteer-run organization, VAS relies on its members who volunteer their time and skills, and without whom we could not survive. On a rotating monthly basis, as a way of saying a thank you to those who have made a difference, we are spotlighting individuals who have contributed in consistent and extraordinary ways.
This month’s spotlight is on Joyce Myers, who has contributed her creativity and enthusiasm over many years. In addition to volunteering her time and efforts on many activities and programs, Joyce has made the VAS Halloween float “happen” for the past few years. She also created the joyful life-sized Santa that graced our Holiday Market last November, and which later made its way around town for everyone to enjoy over the holidays.
