** Note: Students will bring (2) 16”x20” stretched canvases (available at any craft store), and a box of pop-up baby wipes and a roll of paper towels. Please also bring a brown bag lunch. (Must be age 18+)

This workshop features the Bob Ross “wet on wet oil painting technique”. The class will paint (2) landscapes in oils. Students will learn how to paint Bob’s “happy little trees” as well as skies, clouds, water, reflections, etc. using Bob’s BIG brushes and his special paints. By using the liquid white and learning how to apply it; students will experience the joy of creating a finished oil painting without having to dry the oils between layers. They will also learn some of the fundamentals of using Bob’s BIG brushes to make a pleasing picture–even if they have never painted before. Beginners welcome!
Our instructor, Sandra Hill, was recently featured on a WETA PBS fund raiser which permitted several WETA subscribers to take a BOB Ross class with her. Sandy has taught Bob Ross classes in many No. Virginia and Ohio craft stores as well as having a tv show called “Paint ith Sandy.” Sandy enjoys sharing her knowledge and skill and teaches watercolor and acrylic painting as well as Bob Ross oils. She has literally taught hundreds of people to enjoy art and appreciate the pride and joy of painting. Come join her for this workshop!
