HOW DID THEY DO IT?

A HUNDRED YEARS AGO, OUR GRANDPARENTS RECOVERED FROM A PANDEMIC

ONE THING’S FOR SURE…THEY REVELED IN MUSIC & THE ARTS

Members of the Vienna Arts Society looked back at art created during that era. Here’s a collection of original paintings that reflect the 1920’s. Viewed by tens of thousands on their 2021 award-winning “Roaring 20’s” Halloween Parade Float, the paintings were donated by the artists for a SILENT AUCTION to help keep the Vienna Art Center open.

The paintings, each valued at $400.00 or more, had opening bids of $200.00, and were on display through January along the ramp at the Vienna  Community Center, 120 Cherry St. SE, Vienna, VA 22180.

The winning bidders were notified on January 31, and invited to take home an original artwork as they REVEL IN THE ARTS and “ROAR” into better times.
