HOW DID THEY DO IT?

A HUNDRED YEARS AGO, OUR GRANDPARENTS RECOVERED FROM A PANDEMIC

ONE THING’S FOR SURE…THEY REVELED IN MUSIC & THE ARTS

Members of the Vienna Arts Society looked back at art created during that era. Here’s a collection of original paintings that reflect the 1920’s. Viewed by tens of thousands on their 2021 award-winning “Roaring 20’s” Halloween Parade Float, the paintings have been donated by the artists for a SILENT AUCTION to help keep the Vienna Art Center open.

The paintings, each valued at $400.00 or more, have opening bids of $200.00, and are on display through Monday, January 31, along the ramp at the Vienna  Community Center, 120 Cherry St. SE, Vienna, VA 22180.

To place a bid, contact the Vienna Art Center at 703-319-3971. You may leave a message, and an Auction Team member will return your call within 24 hours.

On January 31, winners will be notified and invited to take home an original artwork as they REVEL IN THE ARTS and “ROAR” into better times.
